Man, it’s been awhile since I’ve written you a morning note but…

GOOD MORNING MY LOVE!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

No, I haven’t had my morning coffee yet but I just feel really good even though my sleep tracker says I slept for 5h 59m. I know, it’s pretty strange.

Anyways, I just wanted to tell you how my week has been because I haven’t been quite happy with myself. I skipped out on my workouts despite wanting to. I didn’t write much (I think on my calendar, I only spent 2 hours to write this ENTIRE week). I didn’t meditate. I had some bad sleep — that damn rat keeps making so much noise around the chicken coop, and I can’t wait until the rat trap arrives. This could be a good thing, had it been a newfound passion. But because it wasn’t, and I neglected parts of my life that I believe are important to my happiness and growth, I felt terrible…simply because I had forgotten what I was really living for.

Now, I know if I ever want to make changes to my life — try something new, work on a new project, build better habits — I need to stick with my foundation: working out, writing, meditating and getting good sleep. Because ultimately, these are the things that…
